At You Matter Patient Advocacy Group, our work focuses on supporting individuals and families affected by MASLD, MASH, NASH, and fatty liver disease through advocacy, education, and care navigation. Liver disease can be complex and often misunderstood, leaving many people unsure where to turn for reliable information, the right specialists, or support along the way. Our goal is to ensure that no one has to face liver disease alone.
We help patients better understand their diagnosis, prepare for medical appointments, communicate with healthcare providers, and navigate the many decisions involved in managing liver health. Through our care navigation services, we connect individuals with appropriate resources and specialists, including hepatologists and liver care teams, helping reduce confusion and barriers to care.
In addition to direct patient support, we work to raise awareness about liver disease, amplify patient voices, and advocate for policies that improve access to care, early diagnosis, and treatment. We also help connect individuals with peer support networks, educational resources, and liver disease organizations both nationally and internationally.
Our programs include patient advocacy and care navigation, peer support and empowerment, policy and systems advocacy, liver disease awareness initiatives, and community engagement opportunities. Through these efforts, we strive to empower individuals with knowledge, strengthen patient voices, and improve the overall experience of navigating liver disease.
At the heart of everything we do is a simple belief: every patient deserves to be heard, supported, and guided with dignity throughout their healthcare journey.
