Get Involved

Why Get Involved?

Improving healthcare systems requires the voices and collaboration of everyone involved in care. At You Matter Patient Advocacy Group, we believe meaningful change happens when patients, caregivers, medical providers, and advocates work together to address the real challenges people face while navigating complex medical and mental health systems.

For patients, getting involved helps ensure that lived experiences shape the systems designed to serve them. Patients bring invaluable insight into barriers such as delayed diagnoses, fragmented care, and the realities of living with fatty liver, NASH, MASH or even MASLD.

For caregivers, participation provides an opportunity to advocate for loved ones and share the unique perspective of those supporting patients through daily care, medical decisions, and system navigation.

For medical providers, involvement helps strengthen collaboration with patients and advocates, improving communication, trust, and the delivery of patient-centered care.

For advocates, engagement allows for the development of stronger support networks, better resources, and policies that truly reflect patient needs.

By working together, we can bridge gaps between healthcare systems and the people they serve, promote dignity and respect in care, and build solutions that make healthcare more accessible, compassionate, and effective for everyone.
