Who We Are

You Matter Patient Advocacy Group is a patient-led nonprofit dedicated to liver disease in the realms of fatty liver, NASH, MASH and MASLD.

Why We Exist

Too many patients are dismissed, misunderstood, or forced to navigate fatty liver, NASH, MASH or MASLD alone or they simply feel misunderstood or are stuck dealing with stigma. We exist to ensure patients are believed, supported, and prioritized.

Who We’re Seeking

• Individuals with lived experience of liver disease
• Caregivers and family advocates
• Healthcare or mental health professionals
• Legal, policy, nonprofit, or research professionals
• Community leaders passionate about equity and access

Board Commitment

• Quarterly meetings
• Committee participation
• Strategic guidance and ambassador role
• Term: 2 years
